Independent Editorial Rankings — Updated June 2026
Best UK Education Consultancies in Nepal 2026
Scored independently on five objective criteria — visa success rate, UK university partnerships, advisor qualifications, student satisfaction, and post-visa support. No paid placements.
No consultancy in this review has a formal UK-only specialisation — all eight are multi-destination firms serving Nepali students.
Since June 2026, the UKVI RAG system makes consultancy-level compliance monitoring critical — ask any consultancy how they track this before signing up.
⚠️ New June 2026: The UKVI RAG system means your consultancy must now actively monitor university compliance tiers before issuing CAS guidance. A university can move from Green to Amber — freezing CAS issuance — without public notice. Ask your consultancy how they verify this. Learn about the RAG system →

NIEC Nepal is a long-established multi-destination consultancy with a strong track record for UK applications specifically, including consistent CAS processing and a broad network of university partnerships. It scores well across all five criteria without a single standout weakness, which is what separates it from the rest of the field this year.

Consultancy FAQs
Check Ministry of Education registration. Ask for formal partnership or authorised agent letters from each UK university they represent. UKVI-licensed universities publish their authorised agent lists — cross-check with the university's international office. A legitimate consultancy will never guarantee a visa or admission.
Reputable consultancies typically charge NPR 25,000–60,000 for full application and visa support. Some charge no upfront fee because they receive standard commission from UK universities — this is normal practice. Always get a written service agreement and never pay 100% upfront.
If you have already decided on the UK, ask any consultancy how much of their caseload is UK-focused versus spread across multiple destinations. UK immigration rules, the new UKVI RAG system, and scholarship programmes change frequently, so a firm with deeper UK-specific volume is more likely to have current, first-hand knowledge — but always verify this with recent client references rather than taking it on trust.
Yes — significantly. Since June 2026, universities are rated Green, Amber, or Red for compliance. An Amber university cannot issue CAS. Only consultancies with direct access to the licensed sponsor network can check real-time RAG tier status before advising on university shortlists. Read the full RAG guide →
Shortlist two or three consultancies, verify their UK university partnership letters directly with the university, and compare written fee agreements before committing.
