In brief

The website is designed for readable study research across devices, with semantic headings, keyboard navigation, labelled controls and information available as HTML.

Reading and navigation

Use the Skip to content link to move beyond the main navigation. Articles include section links, clear headings and source lists. Mobile navigation uses an expandable menu that can be operated with a keyboard. Browser zoom and text resizing are supported.

University directories have ordinary links to their profiles. Interactive filters enhance those lists. If JavaScript is unavailable, the underlying profile information and article content remain accessible.

Tables and interactive tools

Wide tables can be scrolled within their labelled region. Calculators have labelled inputs, explanatory text and an error message area. Budget results can be printed. Comparison controls use standard select fields and report duplicate or incomplete selections.

Search and calculators require JavaScript. Where a feature cannot run, use the linked guides and source pages to continue your research. A calculator's numerical output should always be read alongside its assumptions.

Ongoing checks

The design targets WCAG 2.2 AA practices. This statement is not a certification that every combination of device and assistive technology has been independently audited. When identifying a problem, note the page, task, browser and assistive technology involved without including private application details.
