How this calculator works
The expense total adds tuition after your eligible scholarship, rent and other living costs over the entered months, and entered one-off costs. It excludes the refundable housing deposit. Tuition already paid reduces the remaining amount.
The optional pre-travel figure uses planned tuition, advance rent, one-off expenses and the refundable deposit, subtracting tuition already paid. It is a payment-timing view of the same budget, so it should not be added to the expense total.
Default living inputs are illustrative starting assumptions. One-off expenses start at zero and need your own figures. The tool uses no future earnings or assumed scholarship. A currency conversion appears only when you enter a planning rate.
