Check the awarding institution and the teaching location

A university name, a group name and a teaching campus can describe different things. Mergers may retain familiar university brands. A London campus can teach courses awarded by an institution based elsewhere. Confirm the legal awarding body, teaching postcode and named course before choosing accommodation or paying a deposit.

Recognition and Student sponsorship are separate checks

Use the official degree-recognition guidance for the awarding body. For an international application, also check the current Student sponsor register and the university's own course and admissions instructions. Directory membership does not itself prove that a particular course qualifies for your intended visa route.

Make a shortlist that answers your actual question

Compare the course content, academic entry requirements, English evidence, campus, duration and international fee for your intake. Our detailed profiles use one researched course per institution; an institution without a fee profile is still available through its official website above. Absence from the researched sample is not a negative quality judgement.
